General Information

PLENARY TALKS
Plenary Speakers are kindly asked to prepare a 25 minute presentation. If there is time, it will be possible to accommodate questions from the audience at the end of the presentation. Speakers are to either: 1) bring their presentation either on their laptop or 2) on a USB and upload the slides to the computer in the room of the talk in a break ahead of the session.

SYMPOSIUM PRESENTATIONS
Participants in Symposia are invited to give a 15 minute presentation followed by some 3-4 minutes of time for questions and discussion. The chair of the symposium will decide whether questions are accepted after each presentation – or at the end of the session. In general, each symposium holds 4 presenters. Speakers are to either: 1) bring their presentation either on their laptop or 2) on a USB and upload the slides to the computer in the room of the talk in a break ahead of the session. Please note that speakers and chairs of accepted symposia are NOT exempted from paying the registration fee.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Oral presenters in parallel sessions are kindly asked to limit their talk to 13 minutes, followed by a 2 minutes’ discussion. Each session will have 5 presenters so it will be greatly appreciated if presenters adhere to the 13-minute time limit. Speakers are to either: 1) bring their presentation either on their laptop or 2) on a USB and upload the slides to the computer in the room of the talk in a break ahead of the session. Please note that speakers and chairs of accepted individual talks are NOT exempted from paying the registration fee.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS
There is one poster session on Thursday and one on Friday. Presenters are encourage to hang the posters early in the day and are welcome to leave the poster for the entire day. The Poster Session will take place at 11.30AM-12.45PM during the lunch break. The poster boards will be placed physically close to where lunch is served and it will be a good idea for presenters to be available for questions during the lunch break.

The posters boards are 115 cm wide and 185 cm tall. We following posters measures: 90 cm wide and 120 cm tall. Pins for hanging posters will be available at the poster boards or at the registration desk. Please note that presenters of accepted posters are not exempted from paying the registration fee.

POSTER AWARDS
IASP will have review teams inspecting all posters with the purpose of identifying Poster Award Winners, which will be announced during the Closing Ceremony on Saturday. There are also Poster Awards for Early Career Researchers – please notify the conference organisation if you would like to be taken into consideration for an ECR Award. An Early Career Researcher is usually defined as current undergraduate, postgraduate, masters, PhD students, postdoctoral students or resident medical students.
